Me: You are currently in the page of an aspiring author, an occasional book-reviewer, a freelance editor and proof-reader. Before the above titles, I was a PhD dropout in Soil Science from the US of A, which rather coerced me into switching gears and professions. Oh, and a little interestingly, I work in both English and my mother tongue Bengali.
The Blog: An effort to collect my short stories, poems, articles and other non-literary jots in English at one heap. Many of the posts are imported from my earlier blogs which were randomly scattered. Here’s my blog in Bengali for anyone who reads in the language.
Shoot an email at chernozems.prb@gmail.com for editing manuscripts, brand collaborations, product & restaurant reviews and event coverages.
Books I’ve edited:
God’s Table: The Last Supper (by Santosh Avvannavar, Jyothi Byahatti and Sandeep Huligol)

Why One and a Half Minutes?
Somebody must be wondering on the name’s origin. For that obscure somebody somewhere – I had read in a children’s magazine that in ancient times, a moment was measured as one and a half minutes. Our lives, are all but moments. This blog is an attempt to collate the moments, good bad and ugly, and create a collage called life.
and very catchy name of the blog. 🙂
