While we’re busy with all our phones of various designs, makes, models and facilities, Asus is here to wow us with the new Zenfone 2. Though I use a different phone now, I’d be interested in Asus looking at the features and the splendid design that it offers. If you look closely at the phone, you’ll find at least five great features that make the phone possibly one of the best looking ones in 2015.
Ergonomic Arc Design – The first thing I look for in any phone is how ergonomic it is. If it doesn’t fit well in your palm and look good, it is not of much use. Frankly, I’m not a fan of huge phones or carrying tabs all around. They are clumsy and messy in my opinion. A well designed set should have its curves good enough to sit perfectly in your palm. ‘Your palm’ is the key thing here as each person has their own preferences when it comes to holding a phone set many hours of the day. Asus Zenfone 2 has been designed in an arc to fit well and has a rear button for clicking those precious selfies and adjusting the volume while talking. Looks pretty good and useful to me.
72% screen to body ratio – Well, I didn’t know what the Bezel length was until I looked at this phone. The screen bezel is the thin area on display surrounding the screen. While most phones have a high bezel length to fit in other functions, Asus Zenfone 2 has reduced it remarkably to increase the screen to body ratio to 72%, which means a huge screen for display. Most of us love to watch videos on our phones throughout the day and a 5.5 inch screen on a 5 inch body sounds perfect for that mission. The display would look wonderful with most of it coming to life.
High Resolution Display – With videos and social media our daily staple, a smartphone with high resolution display is a must for heavy users. What do most of us do while we’re bored commuting to work or waiting at a doctor’s chamber? It’s always a video to watch or heavy chatting on various apps with friends and family. Asus Zenfone 2 has a 1280×720 HD IPS display that offers 178 degrees viewing angles. I’ve heard the colours are amazing and it is going to make your experience of this phone a marvel.
Available in 5 colours – Though I prefer a black set, I’ve used a red one too, if you’d believe! Asus Zenfone 2 offers you 5 colours to choose from, which is probably on the higher range for phones from any company. The colours are Osmium Black, Sheer Gold, Glacier Gray, Glamour Red and Ceramic White. When you buy one of these, you can choose your own Asus Zen UI too. I’m sure you’ll love any of these colours to suit your palette.
ZenUI, the brand new interface – Asus Zenfone 2 launches the new Zen UI, a brand new interface design that
will change your perspective. It is a more personalised one with a variety of features like ZenMotion, Snapview, Trend Micro Security and ZenUI instant updates. You can tap the phone to use the one hand experience and tap it back to sleep. ZenMotion has multiple sensors to ease up your interaction with your favourite phone. Most importantly, ZenUI has a kids mode which you can use to keep the phone safe from children.
I liked all these features which I think would make Asus Zenfone 2 one of the best looking phones in 2015. If you’re a tech and gadget lover, plan your budget to suit fetching a new phone, the Asus Zenfone 2.
